Bahria Town Extends Closure of All Public Areas and Offices Temporarily

Under the global COVID-19 Pandemic, Bahria Town Karachi is closing all its public areas and offices temporarily. The action is being taken with compliance with the Sindh Government Directive and the national state of health emergency. This lockdown has been in effect from March 2020 and will go on until an extended period of 14th April at least.

All offices and project sites are being closed for the moment. This is an effort to control the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Bahria Town Karachi wishes well to the families of those suffering and does in no way wish to add to the risks of the pandemic.

Bahria Town Karachi had already issued safety guidelines to cope with the pandemic in a steadfast and effective way. However, social distances are essential and by ensuring that all project sites as well as the property offices are closed, it is ensuring the ability to distance the families of its workers from the risks of the virus. This also helps in making sure that no worker that commutes from the outside of the town carries the virus into the town through the workplace and so on. This however, is only one aspect of the wider management efforts that are ongoing in the community at Bahria Town Karachi.

Bahria Town Karachi has been taking several measures to deal with these unprecedented times. The community at the Bahria Town Hospital is also contributing towards several awareness and public service efforts to retain life as was normal before. However, the issue beyond anything the world was prepared to face.

The Administration and coordination offices as well shall remain open and have been open even during the lockdown.
