Nespak was able to identify some issues for the Sindh government. For example, the 121km route Osmani chose went through very hilly areas. Why this was so, is still unknown. Furthermore, the technical committee suggested that Nespak’s issues did not justify a change or the need to look for an alternate route. This also meant that the need to supply water to the civilians is much more essential than contingents that have very little impact on the performance of the canal.
